Poppy project for St Michael's Blewbury
Originally inspired by the poppies pouring out of the window at the Tower of London years ago, I then saw a more achievable version as done by the good folk of St Andrew's Hagbourne:
I need as many crocheted or knitted red poppies as we can get together for the main display. Easy knitting patterns are available in Blewbury Post Office and from me in the Benefice office. I also have crochet patterns. Finished poppies can be brought to the office or left in the boxes in the Blewbury Post Office and Blewbury Church.
Thank you to everyone who are already knitting and for those who have already started bringing their finished poppies. Our collection is growing nicely!
